Yahoo makes key appointments to bolster high-growth ad tech business in APAC

yahoo today (October 26, 2022) announced key appointments to its APAC team to support the accelerated growth of its ad technology business in the region. Matt Farrington joins Yahoo as Head of APAC Partnerships and Investments. Sandra Lin joins the team as the new APAC DSP Strategy Manager. Kenneth Koh joins as Head of DSP SEA.

The latest appointments come amid growing demand for Yahoo‘s ad technology product solutions and services in APAC, as brands bolster their digital marketing strategies with Yahoo’s pioneering omnichannel offering.

Matt Farrington, head of partnerships and investments for APAC, will lead Yahoo’s investment strategy in the region and oversee business relationships with agencies and clients. He will lead the development and delivery of Yahoo’s business deal models in APAC, driving value for agencies and clients through Yahoo’s unified advertising technology stack and best-in-class omnichannel platforms, including iconic brands such as Yahoo Finance and Yahoo Mail. Matt previously held leadership roles in global media groups and major agencies within Omnicom and GroupM.

Sandra Lin, APAC Head of DSP Strategy, Oversee strategy for Yahoo’s ad platforms and unified ad technology stack, focusing on growing product adoption in the region. She will lead regional multidisciplinary initiatives regarding products, positioning and partnerships. Sandra previously led programmatic initiatives at Google, where she played a key role in market expansion and adoption of emerging channels.

Kenneth Koh, Head of DSP SEA, will lead the demand-side platform (DSP) team for SEA. His tenure will include managing Yahoo’s growing team of platform specialists who help partners in Singapore and SEA realize their full potential through Yahoo’s buying solutions powered by its unified, omnichannel advertising technology stack. . Kenneth previously led platforms and search teams at Google for SEA.

As Yahoo bolsters its team in the region to support customers and partners, Terence Lim joins as sales manager for SEA. He will work closely with partners and agencies to help brands future-proof their marketing strategies and achieve their business goals through Yahoo’s unified advertising technology stack. Natalie Phang joins SEA as a Data and Insights Strategist, where she will leverage her data strategy experience gained in APAC and EU, to help Yahoo’s agencies and client brands in SEA maximize their marketing investment for the cookieless world.
